During March Dubai Duty Free promoted Avondale Camissa Rose and ran a promotion on the Cederberg MCC.

Both promotions were a great success and helped to show case these great wines to consumers living in Dubai and transiting through the airport.

The Cederberg MCC is made using traditional French methods. The lengthy lees contact brings to the fore a yeasty, biscuit like aroma. Citrus aromas of lime zest are derived from using 100% Chardonnay grapes. The consumer can expect a creamy sensation on the palate and endless ribbons of fine bubbles!

Avondale Camissa is made from 60% Muscat de Frontignan and 40% Mourvedre grapes. The vines are 25 years old, naturally cultivated and certified organic. They have a low yield of 4 tons per hectare of high quality fruit with intense flavours.  A blend of two flavourful varieties,

Camissa arrests the nose with rose petals, scented pelargonium and fresh red fruits of the earth. Hints of Turkish Delight and lemon zest attest to the perfect acidity of this wine; for Camissa may appear sweet but it finishes completely dry.
